Probs seeing the training arc was awesome IMO. Tsukki taking the time to actually understand what he can do for the team and seeing the teams work and help each other. And then seeing the results for karasuno, nekoma and furokodani at nationals too. My mom saw me watch it and then she got hooked, thus i rewatched with her and we started celebrating each point on every match and getting hyped for Tsukkis block.

Since I read the way of kings in 2014, I've read it every year after that. That also applies to the sequels. The series is almost my bible at this point. No matter how often I read these books, I still get swept away, in fact, it feels like the tension from knowing what's coming builds it up even more for me. Finding out little connections in the cosmere I may have missed on the 3rd or 5th read through are just the icing. I even mix it up and do just one POV per book sometimes. And everybody talks about how the books helped them through dark times and it sounds a little over the top, but it isn't. Sartre wrote "Life has no meaning a priori. It is up to you to give it a meaning." The storm light archives have my life meaning when I wanted to check out. A friend of mine used to tell me exactly when the next book would be coming out so I could pre order and have something to look forward to. We still do that, but now it's more for tradition than as a coping mechanism, but I'm glad I found this series when I did, it was perfect timing. Almost like Sly bringing Kal the leaves at the chasm. I have selfishly stopped recommending the books to anybody else because I feel they don't appreciate the books as they should be appreciated. I'm working on this 😅

Haikyuu is for me the magnum opus of story making across all entertainment platform!
